What is Deep Elementary Blues? Can't say I've ever heard of that song,now Deep Elem Blues I've heard of

First, anyone wanting to listen to this date should head over to the other upload, which is more complete, songwise, and less confusing. And the quality for comparable songs is essentially the same -- second electric section, beginning with Good Lovin', is esp. fine.
The chaos described in other posts here clears up if you peek at the accompanying text file. The uploaders uploaded two CDs, which contained tracks 10-14 from 11/11/70 as filler at the end of disc 1. Confusingly, the filler songs are almost identical to the opening set list for 3/20, but it's 11/11 all right.

Okay man, I've been hangin out at the Archives listening to all the Dead shows and I noticed this show says it is the Port Chester show on March 20, but how can this be, when the November 11 1970 show in Brooklyn NY at the Rock Palace has the same first 5 tracks?
Hard To Handle is a much better quality recording than the first 5 tracks, the next 6 tracks are the Acoustic Dead. The quality is better than the first 5 tracks, but is not as good as HTH.
From Drums/Good Lovin' to And We Bid You Goodnight the quality of the recording is better than the first 5 tracks. In the Applause track (Next to last track) you can hear the the guy on the mic say "goodnight from the Capitol".
So It seems there are parts of the show from the Capitol, and others are not, OR The other show on November 11 1970 is incorrect. Some of the tracks here are better quality recordings than at the 11-11-70 show, so check em out man, these freaks will lead you in circles.

The 11-11-70 show has the same consistent recording sound from the first track to the last track. It sounds like one show. But I wonder if the alleged 2nd set is of the same night, or of the next night, or something else all together.
The enigma of a conundrum of a mystery clouded in time and space on the iron shavings of a piece of tape in the hands of a hippie on drugs...there must be a GOD how else could this thing survive, man...well anyway I guess the only thing to do is download BOTH FREAKING SHOWS...and cut and paste the tracks to your own liking...someone else did...so it ain't like I am the first to molest these tracks...Check it out if you have nothing else to do, I did. Listen to both shows...see fer yer selves and you be yer own judge...THANKS FOR THE LOVE. These shows are still precious to those of us that love the Dead, and always will. I just wish the hippies were more together when it came to keeping the title of the show on the tape, seems that was BEYOND their ability while on DRUGS, I hope its due to drugs, if it is not, then HUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM! The assylum is being run by the inmates!!!! Smell you later...

Classic moment: the MC asks for a girl named Annete for Pig backstage after the show and any other pretty ladies can come too. Some guy yells "Fuck for Peace". I love those classic gems.

If you're wondering what this is, it is 3-20-70 all jumbled up: but it contains one song from this night, Cold Rain & Snow, that no other source for the show has. Even deadlists does not list it, though a listen will convince anyone it must be correctly placed here - the AUD sound before and after is exactly the same. (Good performance, too.)
Specifically, you've got the middle section of the show as tracks 1-9 (SBD), then it starts at the beginning of the show with track 10 (AUD), switches back to SBD on track 14, skips the middle section, and goes straight to the last third of the show (great VLB). In other words, two different and incomplete sources are back-to-back here. Do yourself a favor and listen to the other version of the show posted here, and ONLY listen to Cold Rain & Snow here!
